Introduction to FRTC-SASW Training Academy

Established in (1992), the Family Resource and Training Centre (FRTC) is a charity registered under the Charities Act and is a Standing Committee of the Singapore Association of Social Workers (SASW). FRTC’s mission is to support, nurture and strengthen professionals in their work with families through leadership in training, public education, research, consultancy and advocacy.

The services provided by FRTC include:

  • Competency Training
    A wide range of specialised training programmes for the professional and personal development of Social Workers and social service practitioners in the field.
    The programmes are conducted by qualified and trained Social Workers and practitioners.
  • Social Work Supervision
    Develop, design and conduct training in supervision competencies for social workers to guide social work practice and career development.
