SASW Mentoring Service
The Mentoring Service is opened to all SASW members practising social work for less than three years and where members can request for a mentor to guide them through their initial journey as a social worker.
The mentor and mentee are to:
– Meet up at least four times within the 12-month period
– Decide on the topics to be discussed during each session and
– Abide by the SASW Code of Professional Ethics throughout the period of mentoring.
Eligibility Criteria for Mentor
– A member of SASW
– Have at least 4 years of experience in the social service sector

– Final year Social Work student OR Social Worker with less than 3 years of Social Work experience

SASW will provide administrative support when necessary.
