Reflections from our Inaugural Fireside Chat

We held our inaugural Fireside Chat session with Christian Chao, CEO, Care Corner Singapore on 17 July 2026. The evening was spent  exploring various topics including leadership and personal sustainability.

  • Leaders are Climate-Builders: Your job isn’t just to manage tasks – it’s to create a “springtime” environment. When you replace fear-driven pressure with a safe, nurturing culture, your team gains the agency to innovate and truly serve.

  • Rest is a Discipline, Not a Distraction: We often confuse “leisure” (distraction) with “rest” (reconnection). True rest is a purposeful practice of realigning with your values. If you want to lead well, you have to learn to restore well.

  • Leadership is a System, Not a Solo Act: You can’t train a leader in a vacuum. Real growth happens when you develop cohorts and align your organisational systems to support that growth. It’s about building the environment for success, not just the individual.
