She believes in the power of the child’s ecosystem and engages social service professionals, educators, volunteers and parents to create positive, lasting impact for children through collaborative, child-centric practice.

Ms Joan Foo is a dedicated advocate for human potential, with a fervent desire to witness individuals overcome barriers to reach their fullest capabilities. Her journey began in the heart of the special education sector, where she found her passion for supporting children, collaborating closely with educators and families to ensure that every child has the needed support to thrive. Joan designed and implemented behavioural and educational intervention programmes for students with intellectual disabilities, coupled with on-going training for teachers and parents as well as counselling for parents
Venturing beyond borders, Joan spent a transformative 12 years in the Philippines, deeply entrenched in the lives of families and children facing the formidable challenges of poverty and systemic inequality.
